Светлой памяти Людмилы Николаевны Мазанковой: Учёный, Клиницист, Учитель, Друг, Коллега (1950–2026)

В 2026 году ушла из жизни выдающийся учёный, педагог и клиницист, профессор Людмила Николаевна Мазанкова. Её смерть — огромная утрата для российской педиатрии и инфектологии, для всего медицинского сообщества, которое она вдохновляла своим самоотверженным трудом на протяжении почти полувека. Людмила Николаевна принадлежала к той редкой плеяде врачей, для которых медицина была не просто профессией, а призванием, охватывающим неразрывную связь науки, образования и ежедневной практической помощи детям.

Путь в профессии: от клиники до фундаментальной науки

В 1977 году Людмила Николаевна с отличием окончила педиатрический факультет 2-го МОЛГМИ им. Н.И. Пирогова (сегодня — РНИМУ им. Н.И. Пирогова). Её профессиональное становление началось в практическом здравоохранении в Детской инфекционной больнице № 5 г. Москвы, где она прошла путь от участкового врача до заведующей кишечным отделением.

Период с 1985 по 1991 год, связанный с работой в ЦНИИ эпидемиологии МЗ СССР, стал фундаментом для её научных изысканий. В 1989 году она защитила кандидатскую диссертацию на тему «Клиника и диагностика ротавирусной инфекции у детей» [1], что ознаменовало начало её глубокого интереса к острым кишечным инфекциям. Логическим продолжением стала докторская диссертация (1994) на тему «Клинико-патогенетическое значение изменений микрофлоры кишечника при острых кишечных инфекциях у детей» [2], в которой были заложены современные подходы к коррекции микробиоценоза, актуальные и по сей день.

Особая роль в лечении сочетанной патологии в больнице им. Башляевой

Говоря о практической деятельности Людмилы Николаевны, невозможно переоценить её вклад в работу ГБУЗ «ДГКБ им. З.А. Башляевой ДЗМ». Коллеги и ученики особо подчёркивают, что в Инфекционном корпусе больницы имени Башляевой всегда были предусмотрены хирургические койки. Это был стратегически важный и, по сути, уникальный для своего времени организационный подход, позволяющий госпитализировать пациентов с тяжелой сочетанной патологией — когда хирургическое заболевание (перитонит, аппендицит, абсцессы, флегмоны, эмпиемы и др.) осложнялось или сочеталось с острым инфекционным процессом.

Именно в этом сложнейшем сегменте работы талант Людмилы Николаевны как клинициста раскрывался наиболее ярко. Людмила Николаевна принимала непосредственное участие в обследовании и лечении самых тяжелых и сложных групп больных детей самого разного возраста — от грудничков до взрослых пациентов детских стационаров (подростков). Она выступала ключевым звеном взаимодействия между инфекционистами и хирургами. Её авторитет был настолько высок, а понимание пограничных состояний столь глубоким, что она никогда не отказывала хирургам в помощи, участвуя в консилиумах и разделяя ответственность за исход лечения самых критических пациентов. Этот мультидисциплинарный подход, который она культивировала, позволял спасать жизни там, где разрозненные действия специалистов могли бы привести к неудаче. Впоследствии этот уникальный опыт стал основой для её многочисленных публикаций, посвящённых междисциплинарным аспектам инфекционной патологии [3–5].

Научно-педагогическое наследие: ключевые работы и идеи

С 2002 по 2024 год Л.Н. Мазанкова заведовала кафедрой детских инфекционных болезней ФГБОУ ДПО РМАНПО Минздрава России. Под её руководством кафедра стала ведущим образовательным центром страны по подготовке инфекционистов и педиатров. Профессор Мазанкова — автор более 350 печатных научных работ, включая фундаментальные учебники, монографии и методические рекомендации. Она создала мощную научную школу: под её руководством защищены 2 докторских и более 10 кандидатских диссертаций.

Кредо Людмилы Николаевны, неоднократно озвученное в её публикациях, звучало предельно ясно: «Лечить детей без знания инфекций просто невозможно» [6]. Она последовательно отстаивала принцип, что «снижение детской заболеваемости и смертности возможно лишь совместными усилиями педиатров и инфекционистов» [7]. Многие годы Людмила Николаевна являлась главным внештатным специалистом по инфекционным болезням у детей Минздрава России в Центральном федеральном округе и Департаменте здравоохранения города Москвы, членом редколлегий ряда рецензируемых журналов, в том числе старейшего педиатрического издания — «Педиатрия. Журнал им. Г.Н. Сперанского» [10].

Заключение

Светлая память о Людмиле Николаевне Мазанковой навсегда сохранится в сердцах её учеников, коллег, пациентов и их семей. Она останется в истории медицины как человек, который сочетал в себе редкую научную принципиальность, высочайший профессионализм клинициста и щедрость души. Её жизнь — пример беззаветного служения своему делу, любви к детям и верности врачебному долгу.

In Blessed Memory of Lyudmila Nikolaevna Mazankova: Scientist, Clinician, Teacher

In 2026, the distinguished scientist, educator, and clinician, Professor Lyudmila Nikolaevna Mazankova, passed away. Her death is a tremendous loss for Russian pediatrics and infectology, and for the entire medical community she inspired with her selfless work for nearly half a century. Lyudmila Nikolaevna belonged to that rare constellation of physicians for whom medicine was not merely a profession but a calling, encompassing the inseparable connection between science, education, and daily practical care for children.

Path in the Profession: From Clinical Practice to Fundamental Science

In 1977, Lyudmila Nikolaevna graduated with honors from the Pediatric Faculty of the 2nd Moscow State Medical Institute named after N.I. Pirogov (today — Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University). Her professional development began in practical healthcare at Children's Infectious Diseases Hospital No. 5 in Moscow, where she progressed from ward physician to head of the intestinal diseases department.

The period from 1985 to 1991, associated with work at the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of the USSR Ministry of Health, laid the foundation for her scientific inquiries. In 1989, she defended her Candidate of Sciences dissertation on "Clinical Manifestations and Diagnosis of Rotavirus Infection in Children" [1], marking the beginning of her deep interest in acute intestinal infections. Special Role in Treating Combined Pathology at the Bashlyaeva Hospital

Speaking of Lyudmila Nikolaevna's practical work, her contribution to the operations of the "Z.A. Bashlyaeva Children's City Clinical Hospital" cannot be overstated. Colleagues and students particularly emphasize that the Infectious Diseases Building of the Bashlyaeva Hospital had always included surgical beds. This was a strategically important and, for its time, essentially unique organizational approach, allowing for the hospitalization of patients with severe combined pathology—where a surgical condition (peritonitis, appendicitis, abscesses, phlegmons, empyemas, etc.) was complicated by or combined with an acute infectious process.

It was in this most challenging area of work that Lyudmila Nikolaevna's talent as a clinician shone most brightly. Lyudmila Nikolaevna directly participated in the examination and treatment of the most severely ill and complex groups of pediatric patients across a wide age range—from infants to adolescent patients in children's hospitals. She served as a key link in the interaction between infectious disease specialists and surgeons. Her authority was so high, and her understanding of borderline conditions so profound, that she never refused assistance to surgeons, participating in consultations and sharing responsibility for the outcomes of the most critical patients. This multidisciplinary approach she cultivated made it possible to save lives where fragmented actions of specialists might have led to failure. Subsequently, this unique experience became the foundation for her numerous publications on the interdisciplinary aspects of infectious pathology [3–5].

Scientific and Pedagogical Legacy: Key Works and Ideas

From 2002 to 2024, L.N. Mazankova headed the Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the Russian Medical Academy of Continuous Professional Education (RMANPO) of the Ministry of Health of Russia. Under her leadership, the department became the country's leading educational center for training infectious disease specialists and pediatricians. Professor Mazankova was the author of over 350 published scientific works, including fundamental textbooks, monographs, and methodological guidelines. She established a strong scientific school: under her supervision, 2 doctoral and over 10 candidate dissertations were defended.

Lyudmila Nikolaevna's credo, repeatedly articulated in her publications, was crystal clear: "It is simply impossible to treat children without knowledge of infectious diseases" [6]. She consistently championed the principle that "reducing childhood morbidity and mortality is only possible through the combined efforts of pediatricians and infectious disease specialists" [7].
